At an early age Mary Taylor began to realize she had a passion for color. Some of her earliest memories are that of creating “bold and beautiful” outfits for Barbie Dolls. “Nothing is black and white to me. I like to live in full color.” Says the successful designer/artist.Mary is not content to create in just one medium. Her love of brilliant color infuses every aspect of her work. Whether it is hand painting fine silk, designing exquisitely detailed accessories, crocheting unique designs, or handcrafting dazzling jewelry, Mary’s art is sure to inspire you.
Although Mary has designed and sold much of her work throughout her lifetime, she most recently realized her lifelong dream to design professionally. Mary has been the lead Designer for Everything Mary a craft and storage based company, for the past 5 years. Many of her designs can be found under the Everything Mary label in stores nationwide. You can also see Mary on QVC with several of her products.
Mary has crocheted since she was 14. She has always blended her other artistic talents with crochet to create unique one of a kind designs.
