Life isn't always a bed of roses for fragile spectacles, so here's a lovely case to protect them from scratches and smudges. Lined with satin, it's adorned with a petite bloom that's crocheted separately and attached above a simple button closure. Our design is crocheted using bedspread weight cotton thread (size 10) and a size 6 (1.80 mm) steel crochet hook.

I am confused by the part of the instructions that says 'twice' after the parentheses instructions. Can someone clarify this for me??
Usually it means to do the part in parentheses two times (thus twice).
