This is crochet pot holder pattern my grandmother gave me. She had made it herself, and I had always admired it. I couldn't wait to make one just like hers. What do you think?

I think it's very lovely, and very vintage. This is something that your grandmother would feel very proud that you created one just like hers.
Beautiful! I think my Grandma had one just like it. She also had a round one that was similar and kept them hanging on the wall behind the stove.
Side note: It's a pet peeve of mine...I hate it when you click on a pic to enlarge it and it's exactly the same size or smaller. grrrrr! On my screen, it's the size of a postage stamp.
